Graeme Cox

CEO and Co-Founder. Graeme holds a degree in Artificial Intelligence from Edinburgh University, has over 20 years’ experience in scaling product development teams and a track record of building profitable, high-growth businesses in the High-Tech & Internet industries. This includes dns ltd, a CyberSecurity monitoring & 1st response business that Graeme sold to Dell Secureworks in 2009. Graeme has founded and managed four technology businesses and has served as board member and advisor on several more.

Charles Nduka

Chief Science Officer (CSO) and Co-Founder. Charles is a leading facial musculature expert with over 20 years surgical experience, including 10 years as Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon (Queen Victoria Hospital). Charles has an extensive background in research and development including clinical trials, has over 100 scientific publications and is the Medical Advisory Board chair for the charity Facial Palsy UK.

Matthew Honey

Chief Finance Officer (CFO). Matthew is a Chartered Accountant and Finance Director with Board level experience in private equity and institutional investment. He has extensive experience raising finance, market listings, starting, building, buying and selling businesses.

Andrew Cleal

Andy was emteq labs’ first hire leads the Software Development team. He has done everything from prototyping mobile app development, to firmware and algorithm development. He has 17 years commercial experience in signal processing & sensor system code development. Has been developing mobile app & wearable technology software since 2013

Dr Mohsen Fatoorechi

Mohsen is emteq’s  Electronic Engineer and sensor expert. He has extensive experience working with sensor technologies across EEG, EMG and EOG. Past roles include prototyping and R&D on a range of novel applications in Electric Potential Sensing technology. He has expertise in low-noise electronics, high-impedance circuits, portable/battery powered systems, data acquisition systems and signal processing.

Dr James Archer

James is a Lead Electronics Engineer at emteq labs specialising in sensor systems. He has experience developing sensor technologies from fundamental principles to real world applications. James’s previous roles involved R&D of electric potential sensors for structural health monitoring. His expertise includes high impedance circuit design, analogue and digital signal processing, PCB design and data interpretation.

Ifigeneia Mavridou

Ifi is the Lead Affect Scientist at emteq labs, specialised in affective computing, machine learning, signal processing, Virtual Reality systems and experiment design. Her doctorate thesis was based on detecting arousal and valence states through physiological signals using novel wearable sensors. In 2020, Ifi was integrated within the R&D team, where she has been investigating the recognition of physio-psychological states within XR.

Dr John Broulidakis

John is a cognitive neuroscientist whose research interests are in identifying cognitive and neural markers of psychopathology. John has extensive experience manging clinical trial including 6 years’ experience recruiting and testing children and adults with psychopathology using functional imaging, neuropsychiatric – and diagnostic- instruments

Milky Asefa

Milky is a software engineer with a MEng degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from Imperial Collage London. He has spent the many years working as an algorithm and software engineer in fields such as Speech recognition, ADAS and Emotion recognition. Milky’s interests are Signal processing, Machine learning and Big data.
