Dr Charles Nduka
Chief Science Officer (CSO) and co-founder. Charles is a leading facial musculature expert with over 20 years surgical experience, including 10 years as Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon (Queen Victoria Hospital). Charles has an extensive background in research and development including clinical trials, has over 100 scientific publications and is the Medical Advisory Board chair for the charity Facial Palsy UK.
Prof Hristijan Gjoreski
Chief Data Scientist. Hristijan is a recognised expert in the development of machine-learning algorithms for e-health, wearable sensors, activity recognition and affective computing. His achievements include 3 international patent applications, more than 100 scientific publications, and 1700 citations with h-index of 23. He was awarded “Best Young Scientist” in 2016 from the President of the Republic of Macedonia. He and his teams has won 3 international machine learning competitions for human activity recognition with wearable sensors.
Dr Ifigeneia Mavridou
Research Consultancy Manager and Lead Affect Scientist. Ifi specialises in affective computing, machine learning, signal processing, Virtual Reality systems and experiment design. Her doctorate thesis was based on detecting arousal and valence states through physiological signals using novel wearable sensors. In 2020, Ifi was integrated within the R&D team, where she has been investigating the recognition of physio-psychological states within XR.
Adam Bandeira Lynas
Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Development Manager. Adam has worked within software development for over 15 years and has progressed within the industry from mobile software developer, solutions architect and CTO. Adam has completed very successful engagements with a wide range of different industries and sectors, from small start-ups to large enterprise companies to deliver high-performance, scalable and feature-rich applications.
Project Manager. Claire spent 10 years in the video games industry, before specialising in games for research and games for health. She is a passionate project manager with a strong focus on user experience and a personal interest in behaviour science. In her work, Claire is following a hybrid methodology that supports the needs of grant providers and investors while ensuring the team is empowered to adopt an agile approach to tasks.
